While enjoying the spectacular views of the city on the long riverside walkway of the Bund, the Shanghai tour aimed to explore the role of high-rise buildings in waterfront areas.

Firstly, Zhu explained, participants can experience the design of urban spaces and waterfront landscape on foot. Secondly, everyone would be able to learn more about the unique aspects of the Bund Finance Center.

After Zhu’s opening remarks, Weijie Liu, Associate Partner, Foster + Partners, gave an overview of the Bund Finance Center. After a brief introduction, the participants followed Liu to visit the lobby of the Bund Financial Center, the highest floor of the Bund Finance Center, the Fosun Foundation and the hotel lobby. The Bund Finance Center's excellent view of the Huangpu River, as well as the movable façade and viewing terrace of the Fosun Art Center, left a deep impression on the participants. In particular, the inner corridor of the movable façade presents different framed views of the Bund over time, making it a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Huangpu River. The south side of the podium is a viewing terrace with platforms at several heights, so visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Huangpu River at multiple levels.
At the end of the tour, everyone took photos on the roof terrace of the Fosun Foundation to commemorate this exciting event.

The tour group enjoyed the incomparable views of Shanghai that awaited them at the end of the tour.
