Mumbai 2010: Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner was held in the evening after the first day’s proceedings, and took place amidst the lovely ambience of the terraced gardens of the Renaissance Hotel and Conference Centre. The spot next to Lake Powai proved again a beautiful location for delegates to discuss the presentations of the first day, catch up with old and new friends and for some to get into the spirit of the host country by joining in the action on stage.  For, as well as networking, a live band and a fantastic dinner, delegates witnessed a wonderful evening of Indian cultural performances from the different states of India. A dance troupe performed varying dances and songs from the various regions of India, and ended by encouraging delegates to join them up on stage. For a while there, it was quite a party, and likely some delegates arose for Day 2 of the conference a touch the worse for wear.

The conference dinner was kindly hosted by the Remaking of Mumbai Federation, and RoMF Chairman Lalit Gandhi, and RoMF Secretary Mayank Gandhi, briefly addressed the audience and thanked them for their attendance and support.
