Join the CTBUH Future Leaders Committee for its October event, hosted by Perkins+Will, which will focus on the Southbank development. Members of the project team, including Perkins+Will and Lend Lease, will join together to discuss the project as a case study on how health and wellness are currently driving development. The evening will feature three presentations followed by a panel discussion and a Q&A moderated by a wellness representative from HOK. A short networking reception will follow.

Julie Michiels, Senior Project Designer, Perkins+Will
Julie brings her background in both architecture and interiors to develop integrated, cohesive projects, from concept development to project realization. She leads the design of each new project with a fresh  perspective balanced by a variety of expertise. Julie works across a wide range of scales and project types, both locally and globally, giving her a unique point of view and sensitivity to the fact that each project will have its own identity. She believes in working collaboratively with clients, users, consultants, and team members through an iterative process to develop a unique solution. Julie brings with both rigor and heart to the work she does, building space that is functional yet imbued with character, culture, and delight.

Justin Patwin, Project Director, Lend Lease

Todd Snapp, Design Principal, Perkins+Will
Every design problem is unique, and Todd Snapp fields challenges through a process that starts with no preconceptions. Beginning with a blank slate, Todd builds understandings of culture, history, function, and use to assemble ideas that grow into innovative solutions. Todd is passionately invested in the iterativeprocesses of design and collaboration to create a harmonic framework that leads to innovative design solutions. Earning a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and specializing in areas ranging from mixed use master planning of high-rise residential and corporate office developments to cultural and higher education facilities, Todd brings versatile expertise and dynamic knowledge as an emerging practice leader to propel the Perkins+Will
team forward. As a testament to his place in the design industry, Todd was recently selected as one of Fifty Under Fifty: Innovators of the 21st Century, a monograph by Images Publishing released in 2015.

Greg Tamborino, Senior Project Architect, Perkins+Will

Greg Tamborino joined Perkins+Will in 2005 and has over 18 years of professional experience in a wide range of project types including highrise mixed-use and residential developments, corporate/commercial/civic, healthcare, K-12, and higher education. He is skilled in maintaining continuity on demanding projects from concept design through construction.
