Project  Overview: TallWood House at Brock Commons is an 18-story mass timber hybrid residence utilizing advanced wood-based building systems, physically demonstrating the applicability of wood in the tall building market. Located on the University of British Columbia campus, it will accommodate student housing for upperclassmen and graduate students. The tower's 404 beds include a mix of 272 studios and 33 four-bedroom configurations, each with integrated kitchen facilities. Upon its opening in the summer of 2017, TallWood House will be one of the world’s tallest mass timber buildings.
