The Venice Architectural Association, and the Council launches "The Tall Stones of Venice" an International Student Workshop & Competition for the high-rise redevelopment of a derelict industrial zone on the Venice Lagoon borders.

ISOVER Multi-Comfort-House Students Contest
International Finalist Competition, May 18–21, 2011
The 2011 Isover Competition focused on the creative approach in the concept of energy efficient construction for high-rise buildings. Several CTBUH people were involved in the competition, with students of CTBUH’s Philip Oldfield participating and coming away with top prizes in the UK finals.

The Norman Ramsey Collection

A fantastic collection of thousands of books, articles and postcards documenting decades of tall building history has been donated to the Council. Mr. Norman Ramsey started the collection when he was 18 years old. |
