|CHICAGO – CTBUH HQ has announced the funding of grants for CTBUH New York, in association with the New York Young Professionals Committee (YPC) and CTBUH Australia. Both groups will receive $15,000 in funds to support and expand their existing programs, which have set the standard for CTBUH chapter programming around the globe, through the introduction of a dedicated staff person that can focus on enhancing opportunities for growth for each chapter. |
The dedicated secretariat for CTBUH Australia will be responsible for a number of items, including research and data analysis for chapter reports; establishing outreach programs for new members; developing strategies to promote Council activities in Australia; assisting with local committees in organizing events; and improving overall advertising and promotion, among other responsibilities.
|The additional services provided by the secretariat will enable CTBUH Australia to engage in more activities, with the goal of raising attendance and growing CTBUH membership around the country. With an established 20-year history of successful and well-received events, the Australia Chapter is poised to enhance their outstanding programming with the introduction of a dedicated staff member.|
Similarly, CTBUH NYC and the Young Professionals Committee requested funds for an administrative assistant that could, among other activities, manage the chapter’s non-profit status; organize logistics for chapter events; manage NYC membership lists in collaboration with CTBUH HQ; and engage with non-member companies to promote the benefits of membership with the goal of securing $20,000 in additional CTBUH memberships.
With the successful introduction of dedicated staff members, both chapters will significantly expand their presences, once-again setting the benchmark for successful CTBUH chapters and committees worldwide.
CTBUH HQ rewards grants on an annual basis for chapters around the globe that demonstrate interest in improving upon their outputs through innovative programming and membership outreach. Chapter leaders can propose grant funding at any time.
