The CTBUH organizational diagram shows the structure of the Council, which has been developed by the Executive Committee in conjunction with CTBUH’s legal counsel. This is accompanied by CTBUH by-laws.

CTBUH Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees, consisting of the CTBUH Executive Committee and 1 - 4 Trustees, oversee the work and direction of the Council. The Executive Committee – comprising the positions of Chair of the Board, Vice-Chair, Executive Director, Secretary and Treasurer – meet on a regular basis to steer day-to-day Council operations.

CTBUH Staff / Contributors

CTBUH Staff consist of full-time and part-time employees that work on a regular basis with the various aspects of the Council related to publications, IT support, research, communications, etc...

CTBUH Advisory Group

The primary role of the Advisory Group is to meet on an annual basis and oversee Council progress and advise on future direction. The annual Advisory Group meeting is held in conjunction with the CTBUH annual conference / congress.

CTBUH Fellows

CTBUH Fellows are recognized for their contribution to the Council over an extended period of time, and in recognition of their work and sharing of their knowlege in the design and construction of tall buildings and the urban habitat.

Committees and Working Groups

Committees and Working Groups carry out various Council initiatives.  Ongoing committees include the Height Committee and the Awards Committee and eight working groups; Seismic Design, Progressive Collapse, Fire & Safety, Sustainability, Legal Aspects of Tall Buildings, Research, Academic & Postgraduate, Finance & Economics, and Wind Engineering.

Country Representatives

Country Representatives are CTBUH people that are appointed to provide direct contact between professionals in their country or region and the Council.

Affiliated Organizations

Affiliated Organizations represented on the Council include national, state, and regional organizations, and representatives of owner, developer, financial, and user interests.
