Mr. A. Eugene Kohn FAIA RIBA JIA is the chairman of KPF, which he founded in 1976 along with William Pedersen and Sheldon Fox, Kohn Pedersen Associates PC, a firm of architects and planners committed to the principle of design excellence. Since then Mr. Kohn has served as Partner-in-Charge of many of Kohn Pedersen Fox’s major domestic and international projects and is responsible for many of the firm’s new commissions. He contributes to each Kohn Pedersen Fox design from corporate headquarters and office buildings to hotels and institutional facilities.

Mr. Kohn is respected worldwide, not only for his 40-year career as an architect, but also for his inspirational leadership qualities. He has lectured extensively on the subject of contemporary architecture, and has been invited to participate in conferences throughout the world. He has delivered keynote speeches to professional associations, civic and educational organizations and industry and trade groups. As a visiting critic and guest lecturer, Mr. Kohn appeared at several universities in the US.  For the last 14 years Mr. Kohn has conducted and taught courses at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and recently lectured at Harvard Business School. Mr. Kohn has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He also succeeded a Real Estate Development Course at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
