|The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has named two new trustees to its board: Mounib Hammoud and Vincent (Kam-Chuen) Tse. The two will replace William F. Baker, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and William Maibusch, DPR Construction, both of whom have served on the Board since 2008. The handover will take place at a leader’s meeting on September 15th at the Shanghai 2014 Conference.|

Jeddah Economic Company
Mounib Hammoud is the CEO of Jeddah Economic Company in Saudi Arabia, having joined the company in 2013. JEC is building the world’s next tallest building, the Kingdom Tower, in Jeddah. Prior to that, from 1995, he worked for Solidere and Solidere International. He was executive board member and chief operating officer of Solidere International; executive board member and CEO of Solidere Saudi Arabia; general manager and director of City Makers SARL, the operational arm of Solidere International; and managing director and board member of Solidere Egypt.
| He remains on the board of Solidere International and Al Zorah Real Estate Development Company in Ajman. He was previously Solidere Beirut’s deputy general manager.|
Holder of a Master’s degree in business administration from the American University of Beirut, Mounib has over 30 years’ experience in city making, land development, real estate development, retail and tourism projects development, strategic planning, corporate finance and financial architecture, and sales and marketing of real estate projects, in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
Mounib has extensive knowledge of the region’s real estate markets and is well known in the real estate industry in the Middle East. He has also established a number of public private partnerships with governments and governmental institutions in Ajman, UAE; Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, and Monaco.
From 1980 to 1995, he was deputy general manager and managing director of Lebanon & Gulf Bank SAL, and managing director of its international banking unit in Cyprus. He remains on the board of Lebanon Gulf Bank SAL.

Vincent Tse is Managing Director of Parsons Brinckerhoff, Building MEP China Region, based in Hong Kong. He has participated in numerous CTBUH conferences as a panelist and presenter. Over 30 years of design experience in MEP and Vertical Transportation Systems (VTS), Vincent’s major focus is in building central core optimization, floor efficiency, sustainable and green design of super tall buildings. Vincent has been partnering with many renowned architects, structural engineers, building specialists and developers in the design of various tall buildings throughout China and Asia.
|He is recognized for his expertise in MEP and VTS engineering, and is known in the industry for designing iconic and super- and megatall buildings.|
Vincent has undertaken the design of more than 50 buildings with heights of over 250 meters; 20 of which stand over 400 meters tall. These include the 632-meter Shanghai Tower and 606-meter Wuhan Greenland Center (as Owner’s Engineer), and the 608-meter Tianjin Goldin Finance 117 Tower, the 530-meter CTF Centers in Tianjin and Guangzhou, the 528-meter China Zun Tower in Beijing, as the MEP and VTS consulting engineer.
Vincent has also been an active participant with ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers) and he has served as a Vice President, a Director of the Board, a Distinguished Lecturer, the Chair of ASHRAE Region 13 (Far East Region) and the Chair of ASHRAE’s Hong Kong Chapter.
Vincent was also an award winner of the CIBSE Gold Medal in 2013, Hong Kong Polytechnic University Outstanding Alumni in 2005, ASHRAE Exceptional and Distinguished Services Award. He is also Fellow of ASHRAE, CIBSE, IMechE, IHEEM and HKIE.
