Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat

Empower your future. Take the urban world to new heights.

Our Mission

Trends indicate that the world’s cities must accommodate an additional 2.5 billion people by 2050, but the way that this growth emerges is still up for debate. Through a number of exciting initiatives, the Council is providing guidance to the shapers of our urban landscapes, with the goal of enabling smarter cities and prosperous outcomes for global populations.

We strive to disseminate multi-disciplinary information on tall buildings and sustainable urban environments, to maximize the international interaction of professionals involved in creating the built environment, and to make the latest knowledge available to professionals in a useful form.  See our full mission statement for more information.
